On January 7, two days before the start of CES 2019, Sony will hold its own event. It is expected that within its framework it will introduce new smartphones Xperia XA3, Xperia XA3 Plus and Xperia XA3 Ultra, the previous models of which were presented at the exhibition last year. Externally, smartphones are unlikely to differ from each other – they all get an updated design, but against the background of devices from other manufacturers will look outdated. Such an assumption can be made from the information leaked to the Internet, which the Digital Trends publication neatly put together in one post.
The Xperia XA line includes smartphones of the average price category, so the cost of upcoming new products is unlikely to exceed 30,000 rubles. Based on this, journalists believe that the devices will be equipped with processors at the level of Snapdragon 660, that is, performed on a 14-nanometer process and equipped with eight cores with a frequency of 1.8 to 2.2 GHz. The amount of RAM will be about 6 GB, and the flash drive will hold at least 64 GB of information.
Sony Xperia XA3 Design
The design of smartphones was revealed in October by OnLeaks and MySmartPrice insiders. The video showed a three-dimensional model of a smartphone with a thick body, wide frames around the display and a double camera at the back. If it is true, the new Xperia XA will really look old, even with a chip like the fingerprint scanner built into the power button.
Which of the information provided is correct will be known very soon. It remains to hope that the company has prepared some really interesting innovations that at the moment have simply not leaked to the Internet. For example, recently the company announced its intention to create advanced face recognition technology that will bypass Apple’s Face ID.
