Most people that are using simple server on their android don’t know that they can connect their PC to internet using their android phone (via tethering and portable hotspot), that is of course if your android phone has the feature. But I believe almost all android phone has the feature. As a matter of fact, I can’t remember this last time I saw an android phone that doesn’t have tethering hotspot feature.
To use simple server on PC via Wi-Fi, first, you need to download simple server for PC. You can download it here

Next; ON your tethering hotspot and connect your PC to your phone’s hotspot via Wi-Fi.
Then open your browser’s LAN setting (accessing LAN setting may differ across browsers. You can Google
how to access LAN setting for the browser you are using. For this demonstration, I have used Opera browser).
To access LAN setting, go to Network Settings and click on Change Proxy settings.
On the next screen, click on LAN Settings.
On the LAN settings panel, check the box under under ‘proxy server’ and apply the following settings:

Once you have entered the above settings, hit OK and you are good to go. Happy surfing!
Side note: This settings will apply to all the browsers you have installed on your PC.
